The personal guide (PG) is the visitor’s intelligent companion

The personal guide (PG) is the visitor’s intelligent companion which offers functions and information on objects or other persons in the room. It can record notes (voice / pictures), and the visitor can use it for active control of his environment. In combination with badges and other supporting devices, it offers access to the help potential of the electronic media.

The badge permits the identification and personalisation of the visitor and is tracked within the SZKC. It can have different forms. One possible is a pearl ( pearls of knowledge). It can be worn on a chain or necklace on which other tokens can later be collected.

The tokens are a manifestation of the action of „collecting“. They can be taken from objects in the Knowledge Worlds and later used to call up additional information on these objects at the terminal of the Intranet.
